Scott Chapman is currently a Professor in Crop Physiology at the University of Queensland in the School of Agriculture and Food Sciences and the Center for Crop Sciences in the Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation.
Chapman was previously Senior Principal Research Scientist with CSIRO and an Associate Scientist at CIMMYT. His research has focused on the genetic and environment effects on physiology of field crops and he has over 18000 citations on Google Scholar. Chapman brings a wealth of expertise spanning hands-on field environments to computer simulations and predictive modeling regarding adapting wheat to hotter and drier conditions.
